For over 500 years, silver was mined for the King at Sala Silver Mine. Today, the mine is a vibrant place where history meets the present—both in the deep tunnels underground and in the scenic area above ground. Follow the mine’s stories on guided tours, events or conferences, and extend your visit with an overnight stay, food and meetings in historic settings—right in the heart of Sweden’s history.
EASTER HOLIDAY
With us, it’s not just eggs that are hidden—your whole week is filled with laughter, experiences and activities. From Thursday 2/4 up to and including Sunday 12/4, our area and the mine will be filled with exciting stories, egg hunts and much more!
GUIDED TOURS
Experience the breathtaking mine tunnels a full 60 metres underground. The journey takes you through sooty, sloping passages, past deep shafts and majestic rock chambers. A memorable and engaging experience for all ages!
EAT & HAVE A COFFEE
Take a break and recharge at Restaurant Konstmästargården. Here you will enjoy family-friendly home-cooked food and traditional baked goods inspired by the turn of the century. When you feel like a meal or a coffee break after your mine visit, we are close at hand.
